Merlot is a red grape variety, native of Gironde, in the south-west of France, particularly the Bordeaux region. Merlot has been widely known since 1700, and was imported to Italy in 1880, finding the perfect environment in Friuli, Trentino and Veneto.
Merlot Veneto pours a shiny ruby red colour, with garnet hues.
The palate is vibrant and typically herbaceous, alcoholic, fruity, aromatic, full-bodied and warm.
